FAQ

BARENUTS

How do I apply barenuts?

You want to apply barenuts to the length of the hair. This gives the opportunity for the cream to work on the entire hair shaft. Massage the cream into the hair and ensure the cream sticks to the hair as best as possible. Leave the cream on for five minutes and then wash off. Repeat the process if desired. Do not keep the cream on if you experience any burning sensation, wash off immediately.
barenuts is best applied to slightly moist hair. Wash of the cream with plenty of lukewarm water and remove any greasy layer that is left on the skin.

How long do I leave barenuts on?

Leave barenuts on for no longer than five minutes and then wash off. You can apply twice if desired.

How long do I leave barenuts on for?

Regulatory guidance is to leave the cream on for no more than five minutes. This is a safeguard against the incursion of any burning sensation against the skin. We have cases of feedback from clients who leave it on for ten minutes with no issues, but it is case dependent based on sensitivity of skin types.
The regulatory guidance also recommends you first test barenuts on a small piece of skin (e.g. a small patch on your arm or leg), to see if you have a reaction to it before applying a lot to any part of your body.

Can I apply barenuts to any part of my body?

Yes, barenuts can be applied to any external part of your body.

Can I apply barenuts more than once?

Yes you can apply barenuts multiple times. Some clients report good feedback on the second application of barenuts. but it is always case dependent. It is easy to sometime miss application to all the hair, hence a second application can pick up these missed area’s, or alternative work further to break down the follicle of the hair from the first application.
Do not apply if you experience any burning sensation.

How does barenuts work?

barenuts works by breaking down the sulphur bonds in the hairs keratin, along with the salt, hydrogen and amide bonds.
There are several active ingredients in barenuts which provide this effect.

Will barenuts burn me?

We certainly hope not. barenuts is composed of chemicals that can provide this effect, so as the regulator recommends, always test it on a small pieice of skin first before applying to sensitive body parts.

Do I need to shower before I apply barenuts?

The key here is to make sure you are clean. Your pubic hair, like other parts of your body, will collect dirt and grease throughout the course of the day. Residue on your hair will stop the cream from attaching itself to your hair and therefore mitigate the benefits of the barenuts cream.
Having clean hair before application is key. Slightly moist hair is also recommended before application.

Which strength is correct for me?

Variant options:
strong - ya big maan (covers 40% of the population)
regular - ya man aboot toon (cover 45% of the population)
mild - sensitive man (covers 5% of population)
The remaining 10% you ask?
5% goes down to those who should not be using barenuts
5% attributed to your mans man, the bloke who defies evolutionary process and is the true king of kings, a legend as they say, balls of steel, a unicorn, a myth, a future being that transcends all biological process and sits amid the realms of the Loch ness monster - no hair shallath be taken...

Does barenuts work for everyone?

No. Everyone responds differently to barenuts, hence why we offer the three variants. People have different skin and hair types, and we hope one of the variants will work for you, but there are cases where barenuts will either be too strong or too weak and will not work for individuals.

How do I wipe it off?

This is case dependent, some clients have the cream wash away with the hair without any assistance, other clients prefer using some form of cloth to wash away.

What happens if I get it in my eye?

Wash it away immediately. Consult a doctor if pain continues.
